Community Careers & Support Services
Incorporated as a nonprofit in 1988, Community Careers & Support Services (CCSS) has been providing quality and life enhancing services to people with disabilities for more than 30 years. We have served as a contractor with the State of Utah’s Supported Employment Program; the Division of Services for People with Disabilities; and the Department of Rehabilitation Services. Since 1988, CCSS has impacted the lives of thousands of low-income families and individuals within the State of Utah.
Our goal is to provide services that support the individual. These services/supports will be direct by the person and optimize their potential so they will become a participating, contributing citizen of their community. CCSS also understands the importance of a natural support network (i.e., family, friends, church and other community members), and has encouraged, assisted and cultivated natural support relationships throughout the many years that we have been providing services and supports. As an individual takes greater control and authority over their lives and resources, they assume greater responsibility for their decisions and actions. CCSS provides services that will assist and support the individual in attaining and maintaining independence and autonomy in their lives.
